He is survived by: his wife Ruthie Liebl; his children, Tammy Brabazon of Black Hawk, Jamie "Digs" Helget of La Salle, Jeremy "JJ" Helget of Saint James, Kayla Mathiowetz (Scott) of Sleepy Eye, Justin, Nathan Lee Helget, Saint George and Jenna "PeeWee" Helget (Michael Rezac) of Hanska; his grandchildren, Devon (Betsy), Noah, Elle, Hannah, Lacey, Tyler, Taylor, Darrin, Breau, Keyera Mae, Levin, Lux and Charlee; his great grandchildren, Lauren and Jacob; and his siblings, Dennis Helget (Kathleen), Darrel Helget (Vivian), Gerald Helget (Dorothy), Marlin Helget (Carol), Dale Helget and Lorin Helget.
