He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Hunstad and Clara Hunstad (Hovdet); his son Daron; and his grandson Trey. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Daniel (Angie) of Zumbrota, David (Kenya) of Darwin and Kelly Schulte (Keith) of St. James; his daughter-in-law Susan Hunstad of St. James; his grandchildren, Tyler (Chelsea), Kaitlyn (Nick), Ashley (Dylan), Alec, Allison, Kamden and Kolby; his great grandchildren, Braya, Paislee, Trey, Beckett and Crew; his siblings, Richard (Melanie) and Marlys Peterson (Ralph); and also, Margaret, Linda and Michael. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
