It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Lorraine (Bergemann) Schwardt of Saint James, Minnesota, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bergemann and Nora Bergemann (Wester); her husband John Schwardt; her daughter Ruth; her son-in-law Keith; and her sister Mildred.
She is survived by: her daughters, Irene McCabe (Steve) and Susan Malterer (Dave McNab); her grandchildren, Timothy McCabe (Susan), Benjamin McCabe (Randee), David Malterer (Stephanie) and Brittany Hinrichs (Zach); her great grandchildren, Zach, Allie, Johnathon, Liam, Eddie, Aurora, Luanna, Phoenix, Juliette, Evelyn, Gia and Piper; and her brother Waldo Bergemann (Nadene).
