She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Ness and Mary Ness (Bowen); her significant other Loren Steigen (Lonnie); and her pets, AJ and Harley.
She is survived by: her daughter Jesse Lynn Toren; her granddaughter Amari Hope Toren of Maple Grove, MN; her siblings, Kelly Koland (Mark) of Karlstad, MN and Kenneth Ness of Middle River, MN; her nieces, Brenna Braunhausen (Jason) of Bemidji, MN, Morgan Hams (Austin) of Karlstad, MN and Claire Koland-Berreau (Trevor); her great-nephews, Ridge and Tate Hams; her great-niece Teagan Koland-Berreau; and her close friend Shawn Cherland of St. Hilaire, MN. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
