He is survived by: his wife Lillian; his children, Roxane Svoboda (Gail) of Prior Lake, Julie Merwin (Lincoln) of Doylestown, Richard Wefald of Jordan and Shelley Wefald (Roy White) of St. Paul; his sister Marguerite Bacon (Gordon); his grandchildren, Kristine Flynn (Sean), Jessica Natarajan (Vikram), James Svoboda (Thu), Mark Merwin (Liga), Matthew Merwin, Dylan Tjader (Katie) and Kelsey Wefald (Janelle Taggart); and his great grandchildren, Liva Merwin, Lily Flynn, Annika Natarajan, Magnus Natarajan, Franklin Svoboda and Jasmine Krouse.
