With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Gerads of Saint Francis, Minnesota, born in Saint Stephen, Minnesota, who passed away on September 10, 2022 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentine Skudlarek and Christina Skudlarek (Lahr); her husband Bernard Gerads; and her parents-in-law, Ervin, Marion Skudlarek, Edward, Lucy Skudlarek and Roger Hoeschen.
She is survived by: her children, John Gerads (Diane Bauer) of Grey Eagle, David Gerads (Darlene) of Freeport, Diane Jesh (Tom) of Freeport, Donna Gerads of St. Cloud, Judy Melroy (Jim) of Wichita and Peter Gerads (Jodi) of Freeport; and her siblings, Donald Skudlarek (Jan) and Delphine Hoeschen. She is also survived by her six children; 22 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
