He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Herzog and Rose Herzog (Schreier); his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Herzog; and his son Duane "Whitey" Herzog. He is survived by: his children, Fred Herzog (Alicia) of Randall, Gary Herzog of Swanville, Allen Herzog (Diane) of Freeport, Dennis Herzog of Burtrum, David Herzog (Teri) of Osakis, Shirley Winkels (Don) of Avon, Janet Christen (Joe) of Albany and Janel Marstein (Alan) of Bowlus; and his sisters, Monica Bechtold (Cletus) of St. Joseph and Bernadette Ethen (Bob) of St. Joseph. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
