She was predeceased by: her husband Joe; and her siblings, Leander, Mildred, Frederick, Ray, Meinrad, Alex, Rose, Luella, Sally Eisenschenk, Marie Schmitt and Betty Lemke.
She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Sauer (Tom) of Milaca and Mark (Karen) of St. Joseph; her siblings, Lucille Foehrenbacher of St. Cloud, Jean Williams of St. Cloud and Bert Nies (Addy) of St. Cloud; and her sister-in-law Mary Nies of Sauk Rapids. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
