He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Burns and Elnore Burns (Billig); his father-in-law Ray Rueter; and his brother-in-law John Styler. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Rueter; his children, Chris (Elizabeth Pihlaja) of Fargo and Jenna Schaefer (Joey) of St. Cloud; his grandchildren, Annie, Archie, Evvie and Eddie; his brothers, Terry and Tom; his mother-in-law Mary Ann Rueter; and his siblings-in-law, Ginny Rueter (Pat Gohla), Diane Styler and Steve Rueter (Darla). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
