He was predeceased by: his parents, Clement Stein and Virginia Stein (Boomer); his siblings, John, Mary Woelfel and Virginia "Ginny" Tobin; and his parents-in-law, Leo and Inez Meier.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Meier of St. Cloud; and his siblings, George of Minnetonka and Margaret Lindenfelser of Otsego.
