With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen R. Carlson (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Stephen departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Stephen. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

He was predeceased by: his mother Hettie Carlson (Edgerly); his grandparents, Linton, Eleanor Edgerly and John Carlson; and his aunt Phyllis Lampkin.

He is survived by: his father Robert Carlson; his siblings, Rob Carlson of Athens, TN, Nicole Hogle (Jason) of Bradford, NH, Jaynel Watkins (Tracy) of Cleveland, TN and Jered Carlson (Cindy) of Johnson City, TN; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Jo Doughtery of St. Cloud, Nancy May Bemis (Rod) of Sartell, Linton Edgerly (Carol) of Sartell and Rick Carlson (Jennifer) of Minneapolis.
