He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Gangl and Rose Gangl (Eddle); his son-in-law Jay Maehren; his grandson Timothy Maehren; and his parents-in-law, Josephine Spaeth and Eugene Spaeth.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane of Sartell; his children, Michelle Maehren (Jay) of Rice, Mike Gangl (Kim) of Kimball and Robin Gangl (Jesse) of Sartell; his grandsons, Tom Sr. (Shannon), Tim, Noah, Cody, Caleb and Austin (Emilee); his great grandchildren, Tommy Jr., Johnathan, Ty, Kevin Isabella "Izzy" and Violet; his siblings, Ed (Linda) of Brooklyn Park, Herman (Pat) of St. Joseph, Clarence (Linda) of Clearwater, FL and Carol Jones (Clark) of Clearwater, MN; his close friend Dwayne Lamprecht; his pet Bella; and his caregivers, Peggy, Lynn, Dr. Lalley, Wendy Braegelmann, Teri Bierman, Ashley and Eb Schefers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
