He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Bye and Mildred Bye (Strutz); his wife Mary Hohmann; his brother Richard; and his stepsons, Bill and Bob Pikus.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Pikus (Eileen) of Lexington, SC and Joanne Pikus of Waite Park; and his stepdaughter-in-law Laura Pikus of Webster, NY. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
