He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Skillingstad and Ruth Skillingstad (Hassler); and his brothers, Delmar, Raymond, Francis and Jerome.
He is survived by: his wife Leona Schmidtbauer of Sauk Rapids; his children, Tim (Tami) of Atlanta, GA, Deb Streeter of Sauk Rapids, Cynthia Reid of Foley and Jane Warnert (Joe) of Sauk Rapids; his grandchildren, Adam, Travis Skillingstad, Anthony, Mitchel Reid and Joey Streeter; and his great grandchildren, Leah, Calvin and Betty.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Benson Funeral Home (1111 25th Ave S, St Cloud, MN 56301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
