It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Stanger Sr. of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, born in Paynesville, Minnesota, who passed away on July 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stanger and Idella Stanger (Brossard); his son Thomas "Tommy"; his grandson Christopher Neeser; his great grandchild Elyse Schreiner; his parents-in-law, Aloys and Irene Hemmesch; his sister-in-law Joyce Stanger; and his siblings, Robert "Red", Ronald, Lois Stanger and Romona Flashereim.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Hemmesch of St. Cloud; his children, Elizabeth Froemming (Kim) of St. Cloud, Rich (Monie) of Rice, Russell (Christine Schreiner) of Holdingford and Joel (Jodi Miske) of Sauk Rapids; and his siblings, Douglas (Judy) of Monticello, Donald of Waite Park, Dennis (Sandy) of St. Martin and Judy Hookum of Bloomquist. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
