It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard R. Ruegemer (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Ruegemer and Louise Ruegemer (Foltmer); and his former wife Marlene McCarthy. He is survived by: his wife Diane Varsnick; his children, Therese Haker (Dan) of Nashville, TN, Anne Houghland (Mark), Maple Grove, Paul (Caroline), Amy Gohman (Ken) and Avon; his stepchildren, Krisie Barron (Jeff) and Danna Mokamba (George); his grandchildren, Joe Haker (Ali), Kelly Watson (Levi), Katie Haker (Jon), Adam Traut (Tara), Eric Traut (Nicky), Emily McEwan (Lisa), Philip Ruegemer, Michael Gohman (Ellie), Megan Gohman, Andy (Kayla), Charnley, Joe Charnley and Zaria Mokamba; his great grandchildren, Adelaide, Kaden, Jude, Braxton, Kiana, Emery, Mateo and Wallace; his siblings, Joyce Haskell, Helen Weber (Jerry), Jack (Bonnie) and Mary Jonas; and his parents-in-law, Gary Gohl (Theresa), Deb Millner, Cindy Mahutga (Rick) and Barb Scherbing (Don). He is also survived by children and siblings.
