He was predeceased by: his parents, Maynard Sakry and Evelyn Sakry (Lemm); his brother Dean; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo and Mick McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Flanagan; his children, Alison LaTourell (Bob) of Ely, Tracy Lewis (Tom) of Minneapolis and Paul (Shelby); his grandchildren, Brock, Grace LaTourell, Daniel, Julia, Kathryn Lewis, Theo and Juniper Sakry; his siblings, Richard (Linnea), Dennis, Tom (Sandy), Mark (Diane) and Joan McLaughlin; and his sister-in-law Jan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
