She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilary and Mary Brunner Sr. (Goering); her husband Leonard J. Schraut of Paul's Catholic Church; and her sons, James and John.

She is survived by: her children, Joseph of St. Cloud, Carol Schraut of St. Cloud and David (Cheryl) of Monticello; her granddaughter Alexa Schraut; and her siblings, Hilary Brunner Jr. of Belgrade and Clara Lieser (Jerome) of Paynesville.
