Mary left this world on January 20, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence M. Sullivan and Esther M. Sullivan (Narverud); her husband John Kumpula; her son Tom Morris; her siblings, June Atherton and James Sullivan; and her granddaughters, Kristin Morris and Mary Tromlay.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Slipp (Steve) of Brainerd, Debbie Svoboda (Rich) of Ureka, CA, Jodi Broll (Corey) of Brooklyn Park, Debra Dobrodziej (Ted) of Farmington, Brenda Johnson (Mark) of Lakeville, Randy Kumpula of Roseville and John Jr. Kumpula (Pam) of Minneapolis. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home (1900 Veterans Dr, St Cloud, MN 56303). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at the Lakeview Cemetery (23657 480th St, McGregor, MN 55760).
