He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Athman and Monica Athman (Rausch); and his brother Joey Athman. He is survived by: his close friend Karen Partch; his children, Laura Arndt (Jesse) of Rice and Jacob Athman (Anika) of Sauk Rapids; his grandchildren, Owen, Campbell, Quinn Arndt, Ava and Whitney Athman; and his siblings, Pat DeForest (Frank) of Fredricksburg, VA, Chuck Athman (Donna) of Sartell, Mary Kay Abbott (Ricardo) of Maple Grove, Karen Sundell (Jim) of St. Cloud, Jean Neu (Dave) of Clearwater and Paul Athman (Mary Jo) of Waite Park. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
