He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Swenson and Dorothy Swenson (Murray); and his siblings, Carol Weis (Jerry) and Edward Swenson (Angie). He is survived by: his wife Joan Goodwin; his children, Shelly Kremers (Jeff), Leslie Swenson (Mike), Eric Swenson (Jayne Nemeth) and Sue Swenson (Steve Goldberg); and his brothers, Larry (Marcy), Steve (Deb) and George Swenson (Lonna). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
