He was predeceased by: his parents, George McCarney and RoseMary Ann McCarney (Lahr); his brother James W. McCarney; and his siblings-in-law, Kim Braith, Mike McDonald and Debbie Landwehr.
He is survived by: his wife Danette of St. Cloud; his children, Nicholas McCarney (Kelly) and Jennifer Johnson (Rick); his grandchildren, Reese McCarney, Tyler McCarney, Kali Enstad (Cole), Emma Enstad (Sam), Drew Enstad, Bryson Kriegl, Brayton Kriegl and Jackson Kriegl; his great grandchild John Dane Morett; and his siblings, Mary McCarney (Mike McDonald), Joe McCarney, Mike McCarney (Kris), Monica Sorenson (Steve) and Jackie Kerfeld (Al).
