She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Hommerding and Rosalie Hommerding (Reiter); her husband Robert J. Bauer; and her grandson John Mathias McDougle. She is survived by: her children, Susan Weirens (Mark) of St. Cloud, Joe Bauer (Mary) of St. Cloud, Terry Bauer (Kristal) of Dassel, MN and Ann Lindahl (Ric) of LaPorte, MN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, and other relatives.
