He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mohs and Thekla Mohs (Winter); his wife Eleanor Olmscheid; his daughter Donna Mae Smith; his son-in-law Wally Bloch; his siblings, Mary Plachecki, Dorothy Holthaus (Joe), Angeline Kalthoff (Martin), Joe Mohs, Art Mohs and Francis Mohs; and his brothers-in-law, Al Leukam and Jim Kluempke.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald "Jerry" (Shirley) of St. Cloud, Ruth Ann Prososki (Vern) of Avon and Lisa Braegelmann (Ralph) of Waite Park; his grandchildren, Mike (Dana), Missy, Katie (Gregg) and Kyle (Rich); his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Ben, Emma, Tom, Beth, Becca and Dylan; his siblings, Ralph Mohs (Josephine) of Woodbury, Viola Leukam of Melrose, Harvey Mohs (Evie) of Waite Park, Adeline Schloeder (Martin) of St. Cloud, Teresa Brang (Ed) of St. Paul and Cathy Kluempke of Melrose; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Mohs of Elrosa, Louise Mohs of Paynesville, Pam Mohs of Dresser, Wisconsin and Gene Plachecki of St Joseph.
