He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leipold and Werdena "Dena" Leipold (Christians); his wife Ruth M. Tepfer; and his siblings, Margaret Sletten, Dorothy Harrison, Irene Berg, Gladys Johnson, John Leipold and William Leipold.
He is survived by: his daughter Cheryl Salzer of Waite Park, MN; his grandchildren, Christa Ruth (Richard) and Aaron Salzer (Leah Stice); and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Alexyss, Ronald and Bowen.
