Pehler of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on September 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James V. Pehler and Adelaide E. Pehler (Abts); and his siblings-in-law, Roger and Jeanne Wojciechowski (Rueckert). He is survived by: his former wife Mary Beverly Rueckert; his wife Beverly Pehler of St. Cloud, MN; his sons, James Pehler of Deltona, FL and Karl Pehler (Carmen) of Plymouth, MN; his sister Judith Root (Dennis) of Dayton, MN; and his brother-in-law Robert Rueckert (Ana) of St. Cloud, MN. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorials are preferred to the SCSU Foundation: Jim and Beverly Pehler Artist in Residence Endowment and the Student Teacher Emergency Need Fund.
