He was predeceased by: his parents, Selvin Grimstad and Mabel Grimstad (Moen); his daughter Sheena; his siblings, Minerva Leitch, Darnella Severson and Manford "Manny" Grimstad; and his brothers-in-law, Eugene Leitch and Milo Severson.
He is survived by: his wife Debbie of Rice; his children, Sean Grimstad (Emily) of Sauk Rapids, Brett Grimstad of Fort Myers, FL and Jeanette "Janie" Smith of Mesa, AZ; his stepson Jason Barsness of Rice; his grandchildren, Makaela, Mackenzie, Madison, Maci, Addison, Brian, Rodger and Keith; his great grandchildren, Skylar and Braxton; and his sister-in-law Judy Grimstad. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
