With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald M. Derr of Saint Cloud, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Derr (Ben) and Evelyn Derr (Muyres); his wife Maryann Kalpin; his brothers, Kenneth "Ken" and Robert "Bob" Derr; and his sister-in-law Cathy Derr.
He is survived by: his children, Bill Derr (Andrea), Vicki Derr and Jon Derr; his stepdaughters, Melissa Prescott (Wayne) and Jennifer Kalpin (Josh Richardson); his grandchildren, Kira Derr, Madeleine Prescott, Micah Derr, Walker Prescott and Braden Derr; his great grandchild Colson Miller; his sister Judy Kosloske (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Kaye Derr (Kenneth).
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 11:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1125 11th Ave N, St Cloud, MN 56303).
