He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Barber and Ione Barber (Burchett); his former wife Sandra Stewart; and his brothers, James "Jim", Floyd "Sonny" Barber and Daryl.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Barber of Waite Park, MN; and his children, Ronald Barber of Roseberg, OR, Kathy Rantz (Dave) of St. Helena, CA and Lisa Sughayar of Tracy, CA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
