He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank DeZiel and Mildred DeZiel (Warrick); his wife Joan "Joni" Uphoff; and his siblings, Earl, Dale, Dwayne, Arlene Rhode and Margie Rathbun.
He is survived by: his children, Craig DeZiel (Jean) and Danna Schmidt (Jim); his granddaughters, Brittany (John Mantel), Jessie (Luke Fleischhacker), Nicole (Peirce Libbey), Erin and Sydney; his great grandchildren, RyLee and Lincoln; and his brother Jerry DeZiel. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
