He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Muntifering and Genevieve Muntifering (Krebs); his son Richard; his great grandchild Miara Bansal; and his siblings, Ralph, Fred "Fritz", Robert, Harold "Babe", Marge Seanger and Harriet Henkemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley A. Blommer; his sons, Timothy (Mary Kay) of St. Cloud, Thomas (Tina) of Boise and Steven St (Claudia); and his siblings, Gary of St. Cloud and Kathleen McStott of St. Augusta. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
