He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Evald Bjorklun and Irene Violet Bjorklun (Nelson); and his brother John Willis Bjorklun. He is survived by: his children, James "Jim" Martin and Carolyn "Carrie" Anne Cramer; and his grandchildren, Heather Alice Cramer and Austin Dale Cramer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to organizations close to Gene's very caring heart: Terebinth Refuge, a shelter for sexually trafficked women; Anna Marie's Alliance, a women's domestic violence shelter; and Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
