She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Jennis and Mary Jennis; her husband Dewey Thurber; and her siblings, Bernice Achman, Lillian Wichman, Doreen Brunsell and Ernest Jennis.
She is survived by: her children, Sandy Symons (Thurber) of Plymouth, Deb Skaja (Tim) of Annandale, Sheela Gross (Brian) of St. Cloud and Scott Thurber (Nita Bonesteel) of Rogers; her grandchildren, Brooks Bjerke (Eric), Krystle Symons, Logan Gross (Mackenzie), Lexi Gross, Wyatt Thurber and Hannah Thurber; her great grandchildren, Grant, Ryan and Josh Bjerke; and her sister Pauline Jennis of Annandale.
