She was predeceased by: her parents, Gust Maier and Alma Maier (Fischer); her husband Gene; her siblings, Al Maier, Ruth Pallansch and Mary Zlock; and her close friends, Pat Potuzak, Eunice and Alan Cross.
She is survived by: her children, Jan (Mary) of St. Joseph, Steve, Amy Stowe of Sauk Rapids, Bill (Carrie) of Sequim, Joli Goodrum (Gary) of New Hope and Molly Ewald (Kurt) of Becker; her grandchildren, Leah, Morgan, Jake, Jessi, Bethani and Kent; her great grandchildren, Sienna, Jaxson, Jayden, Olivia and Madeline; and her close friends, Chet Potuzak and Diane Hunker.
Memorials are preferred to the Poor Clares Monastery or Tri-County Humane Society.
