He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Schramel and Sylvia Schramel (Weimerskirch); and his siblings, Howard, Myrel Uphus and Eunice Mayer.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Helen Finch; his wife Helen; his children, Debra Dominguez (Michael) of Albuquerque, NM, Kathryn Payne of St. Cloud, Edmund (Deb) of Mooresville, NC and Gary (Jenny) of Sauk Centre; and his brothers, Nick of Alexandria, VA, James of St. Paul and Harold of Sauk Centre. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.
