He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Hills); his children, Patti Wavey (Ken), Dennis Schaefer (Marlene), Peggy Whitby (Bob) and Cassandra Lidgerding (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kori Whitby, Marcell Mikkelson (Breanne), Kelsey Wavey, Reece Mikkelson, Billy Wavey and Grace Whitby; and his sisters, Louise Shaughnessy (John), Dorothy Gilyard (Lee) and JoAnn Schmiesing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the St. Marcus Cemetery Fund.
