It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dovie A. DiNicola (Saint Cloud, Minnesota), born in Saint Charles, Illinois, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her nephew Tyler Shipman; her grandparents, Charles, Erna Cass and Theresa DiNicola; her father James DiNicola; her uncles, Jerry and Doug; and her aunt Luella.

She is survived by: her mother Joyce Cass of Sartell; her sisters, Daneele Shipman (Jay) of Frazee and Krysteen Hjulberg (Shane) of Blaine, Her; her nieces and nephews, Carter Shipman, Cassidy Shipman, Allison Hjulberg and Andrew Hjulberg; her aunts and uncles, Judy Swenson (Dave) of Hudson, WI, Joanie Peterson of Sartell, Jan Frank (Art) of Bismark, ND, Jeanie Frolander (Jon) of St. Cloud and Jim Cass of Warroad; and her pet Wesson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Abounding Joy Lutheran Church (6000 Co Rd 120, St Cloud, MN 56303). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.

“Ive known dovie since i was 17 it saddens me to see her obituary im so sorry for your family is loss. Everything I’ve ever known about. Debbie was joyous. She was very caring and funny individual. If you really got to know her I remember lots of cool times hanging out with Dovie in the summers. hanging out in the old neighborhood I really wish we wouldn’t have lost touch throughout lif it sucks that this is kinda like I don’t know this just sucks you will be missed Dovey peace our Homie”
