He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Honkomp and Julia Honkomp (McBrady); his siblings, Kevin Honkomp and Jan Fredell; and his brother-in-law Jeff Hughson.
He is survived by: his wife Johanna of St. Cloud; his children, Laura Montag (Randy) of Bowlus, Denise Honkomp of St. Cloud, Douglas Honkomp (Carissa) of Arkansas City, KS and Brian Honkomp (Angie) of Waconia; his grandchildren, Josh, Isabelle, Preston, Kyle and Ella Honkomp; his siblings, Tom (Bonnie) of Alexandria, MN, Eileen Hughson of Scottsdale, AZ, Ken (Beth) of St. Cloud and Julie McCall (Tom) of St. Cloud; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Honkomp of Carson City, NV and John Fredell of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Catholic Church (2405 1st St N, St Cloud, MN 56303). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
