He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl and Elizabeth; his wife Jan; and his brothers, Wayne and Gordon Cariveau.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark (Mary), Brian and Todd (Beth); his grandchildren, Danielle Gebhard (Tony), Thomas Cariveau, Austin Cariveau, Samantha Cariveau and Michael Cariveau; his great grandchildren, Maya and Molly Gebhard; his sister Judith Cariveau; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Cariveau.
