He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bettenberg and Harriet Bettenberg (Schill). He is survived by: his wife Pam of St. Cloud; his children, Chad Bettenberg of St. Cloud and Carrie Bettenberg of Minneapolis; his grandchildren, William, Kaitlin, Joseph and Matthew; and his siblings, Douglas Bettenberg (Barb) of Sartell, Durwood Bettenberg (Renee) of Sartell, Patrick Bettenberg (Sue) of Remer and Naomi Viehauser (Jack Sturm) of St. Cloud.
Memorials are preferred to Cathedral High School and the American Cancer Society.
