He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Young and LaVerne Young (Nast); his wife Rita Gill (Krippner); his siblings, Yvonne Norton, Mary Ann Berg and George Young; and his stepdaughter-in-law Susan Gill.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, David Gill of St. Cloud, Mary Knak (Rick Emry) of Blaine and John Gill (Barbara) of St. Joseph. He is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
