He is survived by: his wife Darlene Thiessen (Petrik); his children, Deborah Crabtree (Jon), Kathy Gillson (Roger), David Wayne Thiessen (Kathy), Kerri Olson (Duane) and Jerold Thiessen (Tamara); his grandchildren, Nate Crabtree (Annie), Rebecca Mummey (Travis), Sarah (Eric Gates), Angelina Crabtree, Rowan Gillson (Jocelyn), Kirsten Gillson, Micale Gillson, Kennan Gillson, Elise Lawrence (Greg), Toria Marsh (Jordan), Lauren Tiemann (Michael), Lindsey Johnson (Graham), David Michael Thiessen (Maggie), Craig Thiessen (Allison), Katelyn Mozeika (Jacob), Kendra Cortez (Tristan), Darby Olson, Delaney Olson, Zachary Olson, Kelly Anderson (Reagan), Ryan Thiessen (Samantha) and Abbey Thiessen; and his great grandchildren, Hannah Crabtree, Noah Crabtree, Josie Crabtree, Brodie Gates, Logan Gates, Porter Gates, Piper Gates, Lewis Gillson, Henri Gillson (Harry), Calvin Lawrence, Merryn Lawrence, Sylvie Marsh, Lincoln Tiemann, Pax Johnson, Titus Johnson, Nova Johnson, Theo Johnson, Ruby Johnson, Henry Thiessen (David), Martha Thiessen, Joseph Thiessen (Thatcher), Iris Thiessen, Jude Thiessen, Olive Thiessen, Shyra Mozeika, Kato Mozeika, Aliyah Mozeika, Tirzah Mozeika, Hobbes Mozeika, Finnigan Thiessen and Lucy Thiessen.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Benson Funeral Home (1111 25th Ave S, St Cloud, MN 56301). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.
