He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Hollenhorst and Mildred "Honey" Hollenhorst (McPhee). He is survived by: his wife Juliana Elchert; his sister Karen Sherburne (Dean) of Woodbury, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Ken (Clare Eickhoff), Antoinette (James), Somerville of Edina, MN, Mary Beth Elchert of St. Paul, MN and Dr. Tim (Sue Carrels). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
