He is survived by: his mother Shelby Heitzman (Reinke) of St. Cloud; his wife Virgie of St. Cloud; his daughters, Nargie Pflueger (Aaron) of St. Joseph, Heidi Heitzman of Montevideo and Holly Knofczynski (Jeffrey) of Atwater; his grandchildren, Mackenzie "Macke", Talia and Joshua; and his siblings, Bruce Heitzman (Sue) of St. Cloud, Linda Barrett of St. Cloud, Dean Heitzman (Shari) of St. Cloud, Todd Heitzman (Sue) of St. Cloud and Debra Kruchten of St. Augusta. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
