He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Schlagheck and Mary Schlagheck (Meyer); his wife Hellen J. Link; and his siblings, Pearl Cordie, Emil, Ward, Orville, Allen, Omar and Beatrice.
He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Haug (Mark) of Copley, OH, LouAnn Billig of Spicer, Janice Smelter (Tom) of Sauk Rapids and Mary Herring (Jeff) of Dover; and his sister Bernice Dillon. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
