She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Skarsten and Ellen Skarsten (Petersen); her husband Edward Smith; and her siblings, Kenneth Skarsten and Verna Hopewell (Skarsten).
She is survived by: her children, David Smith (Lu) of Andover, Jerilyn Smith Berc of Arden Hills and Cheryl Wedin (Mike) of Clearwater; and her siblings, Lynn Skarsten of Benson and Kaye Schneider (William) of Zumbrota. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
