She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Brehm and Garnetta Brehm (Smiley); and her brothers, Richard Brehm Jr. (Frieda) and Robert Brehm (Charleen). She is survived by: her husband Glen Kaas; her son Steve Kaas (Baby Frecy); her granddaughter Naomi; and her brother Kenneth Brehm.
