She was predeceased by: her parents, Elaine Jorgensen and Allen Jorgensen; her former husband Ronald Piontek; her children, Amy Piontek and Phillip Piontek; her brothers, Allen and Donald Jorgensen; her nephew Kris Jorgensen; and her niece Kathy Otradovec.

She is survived by: her husband Lyle Gerads; her children, Milaura (Troy Robins) and Greg Gerads; and her siblings, Annette Lacourt (Roger), Kathy Peterson (Pete) and Jack Jorgensen (James). She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
