She was predeceased by: her parents, Aubrey Conklin and Alice Conklin (Deets); her husband Jim; her brothers, Arvin and Robert Conklin; her parents-in-law, Leroy and Mary Alexander; and her brother-in-law Ken Adomat.
She is survived by: her children, April Lange (Dan) of Royalton, MN, James Alexander of St. Cloud, MN and Patrick Alexander (Lacey Gerwing) of Little Falls, MN; her grandchildren, Zoey, Maddie, Jackson Lange, William, Autumn, Isaiah Alexander, Landon Baran, Kaylyn Bowyer, Robert, Aiden, Addison Alexander, Serena, Jovanny Carey and Tybin Carey; her siblings, Allen Conklin of Sioux Falls, SD, Anita Adomat of Blue Grass, Ruth Schram (Doug) of Mesa, AZ and Rose Meyer (Lee) of Colton, SD; her daughter-in-law Vanessa Alexander; and her close friends, Robin Terhaar and Tywone Carey. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
In May, Arlene survived having Covid and said defiantly "I kicked it's ass back to China!".
