He is survived by: his children, Steven Wilmes (Cheryle) of St. Clair, Janelle Prochaska (Jim) of Mankato and Kristine Brown (Carl) of Walker; his grandchildren, Christi Wilmes, Daniel Wilmes, Andy Wendt (Tiffany) and Alyssa Nesmoe (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Braxton, Addison, Ashton of Devin, KJ, Avery, Harper, Maddie and Jessie; and his siblings, David Wilmes (Darlene), Arthur Wilmes (Sharon), Allan Wilmes, LaVerne Wilmes (Sue), Michael Wilmes (Kathy), Marilyn Slama and Jeanne Doheny. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
